Micellar Water… or… Miracle Water? The “Water” of beauty! Turns out micellar water has been discovered about 100 years ago, first in France where it was designed in order to help the Parisians to deal with the infamously harsh water supply that the city had. The formula of this water is made of micelles. Micelles are very tiny oil molecules suspender in water.

After the madness that engulfed all companies with bbcreams and just calmed the panic the launch of a new product every week, we thought it would do years for such a phenomenon to repeat, this product came to make a bang out of nowhere!

Julia wrote a while ago about the new products of L’Oreal Paris and in them was the New Micellar water This product disappeared from the shelves when it first made its appearance in London. From what I understand the craze has come in the US and has hit all the other countries too.

So what is this famous Micellar water?

For years it was the great secret of make up artists, originally from France where it first appeared and later globally, and could easily be used multiple times each day because it is hypoallergenic, containing no soap and alcohol and do not disrupt the PH of the skin .

The majority of Μicellar water products contain at least 80% water and the appearance and the texture is just like water!

After a little research online I decided to try a cheap option and bought the L’Oréal Paris Skin Perfection 3-in-1 Purifying Micellar Solution. And the same night I decided the Demand I 3-step and Nail it. My makeup was relatively long and it took about 4 -6 (small though) cotton-tipped swab to remove my makeup (much mascara, pencil and shade though).

Because I wanted to try its potential, I passed over a cotton containing Clinique lotion which removes the layer of the epidermis and can see the blackness on the cotton even after bathing if you do exfoliation. To my great surprise the cotton came clean.

Because I’m unfaithful Thomas and I was not sure I destined to pass over and a cotton with the lotion Clinique which removes known – that configuration – layer of the epidermis and can see blackness cotton even after bathing if you do exfoliation! To my surprise the cotton came clean!

I was then convinced and now the Micellar water (like the bbcream because I’m known beauty victim!) became a must in my daily routine! The only downside I can find is that it ends quickly. I finished a bottle of 200ml in 2.5 weeks and was about to finish the second. I say this because if you decide to choose another company at a higher price you will have to seriously figure out your budget.
