Homemade Exfoliating Scrub Recipe in 10 Minutes
We always find a good excuse to avoid peeling and facial masks. We are tired from work … we have limited time …? We always leave behind the necessary care for our skin (both our face and body)! Using some simple materials we can make a homemade natural exfoliating scrub in our house without spending much time and effort. It will also take just 10 minutes of our time in order to use this exfoliating scrub efficiently. It is nothing, considering that you will use this only 1 or 2 or 3 times per week/month depending on your skin type.
Natural exfoliation is a process that removes dead cells from the surface layer of the skin and allowing facial care products to enter in the skin and act effectively. Exfoliation should be done as following:
- Regular – combination skin: 1 time per week
- Oily Skin: 2-3 times per week
- Dry – Sensitive Skin: 2-3 times a month!
- It is NOT recommended to use any peeling on skin with acne, allergies or intolerances.
Make your own depending on the needs of your face.

First select a small container to use it for mixing the materials. Mix one tablespoon of white or brown sugar and add 10 ml of the following oils according to the needs of your skin …
Coconut oil: nourishing for the skin, prevents wrinkles, contains vitamins E + C + F
Apricot oil: emollient, nourishing and moisturizing. Soothes excessive dryness and gives softness and shine to the skin.
Olive Oil: Antioxidant And Anti-Aging Moisturizing Action
Almond oil: rich in oleic, linoleic acid, and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6. It has excellent emollient, softening, soothing and moisturizing properties
Tea Tree Oil: Helps in balancing oily skin.
Crumble a soap of your choice and add to the mixture as much as needed to be thick. You can use any soap of your choice, such as honey, milk, propolis (if you have oily skin).
Put the mixture in a jar and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 month!
Apply a small amount of the mixture on fresh skin, gently massage for 2 minutes and allow peeling to stay on your face for another 8 minutes. Then remove it with lukewarm water and continue with your personal care.
