Alpha Beta Peel Review
Alpha Beta Peel by Dr Gross is a great facial peeling product that has excellent effects on your skin. The truth is that I am always a little skeptical about the products before receiving any and trying them for myself. Wouldn’t you be? “The plastic surgery alternative” is their tag line. But after continual use, I started to see a major change in the way my skin looked and actually felt.
The first product I will be reviewing is the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel, which Dr Gross himself called it his “baby”. This product not only contains Alpha Beta Hydroxy, but a plethora of other effective ingredients. This is a two step peel product, which produces it’s full results 30 days after continual daily use. When I started this, my skin seemed rather dull and congested. I had been breaking out occasionally due to the change of weather, and excessive sebum. comes in two containers, each soaked in the peel, and neutralizer.
Alpha Beta Peel Application
Step one which is kept on for two minutes, is the actual peel. This contains Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Malic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Genistein, Chamomile Extract, and Green Tea. He added while explaining this product, that he blended specifically Chamomile and Green Tea to the peel to have a calming effect while the peel was doing its work. I was told specifically not to use any product containing alcohol before, as it could aggravate the skin prior to the peel. I took one of the daily peel pads (which are a little hard to get as they stick together) and gently rubbed it on my face, neck, and decollete (chest). I rubbed in semi-circular motions until all of the product was put onto my face. In the two minutes I waited, I started to feel a little heat, and my face did turn red and tingle a bit. Do not apply close to your eyes! After the two minutes of heat, I took a pad from step two which contained the neutralizer. I applied the neutralizer (alkaline substance) to my face and gently rubbed in semi-circular motions over wherever I applied the peel prior. Immediate my face calmed down. I looked in the mirror and after the first try, and no makeup, I was impressed!
I had gotten that “glow” back and my face felt gently exfoliated and fresh. I was so excited! I could not wait to use this for 29 more days! With that said, I am a new fan of Dr Gross’s MD Skincare line. It is probably my favorite peel yet. After 30 days of continual use, my skin has broken out less, the congested pores have diminished, and the fine lines and wrinkles have disappeared. Also, the sebum production has slowed down immensely. I highly recommend sunscreen while using this product as it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun.
I would recommend Alpha Beta Peel to anyone who has an uneven skin tone, acne, excessive oil production, fine lines, age spots, wrinkles, or just wants to freshen their complexion.
